Michael was born in Winter Haven, Florida on October 31, 1983. (That's right, Halloween) Shortly after his birth, his parents divorced and Michael moved "home" to Ohio. From a very young age Michael's interests included motor-sports, especially motocross and kart racing. Throughout school, Michael tried many other sports including wresting, but always returned to his love of racing. It was at the age of 8 that Michael received his first kart and started racing; he took to racing like he knew it was the path he was meant to take and he never looked back. When not racing, Michael mentored many young drivers and helped them hone their skills. He loved working with kids sharing the knowledge he had gained.

Off the track, Michael was a very accomplished artist and could be found many times alone with his sketch book. He started with pen and pencil drawings and later became very talented with an airbrush. After high school, a small stretch of college, jobs in retail, modeling, and real estate, Michael decided on a career in the sign industry where his eye for color and artistic talent made him very successful.

As anyone that met him would attest to, Michael had the ability to light up a room with his mere presence. Michael could fit in with and make anyone he talked to feel comfortable.

Above all else, Michael touched so many hearts in his short life - his legacy is destined to live on.
